It will be necessary to wind up the estate of the deceased person. If there is a Will, then the executor will take care of this. They may require the assistance of a solicitor or a Trustee company. Quite often people may lodge a Will with the Public Trustee so it is important to check with them to ensure you have the most current Will.
Prosser Scott will arrange for the Death Certificate from the Registrar. Following the service you will be given a copy of the information we will be submitting to the Registrar’s Office.
Please check this information carefully and give our office a call to confirm all details are correct. The Death Certificate will then be forwarded to the Administrator of the Estate approximately 7-10 days later.
